Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity - Suburban Orlando, Florida!!

Critical Need: Group is seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our employed group at the Medical Center. Our surgeons perform a state-of-the-art cardiovascular and thoracic surgery services for adult patients including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Valve Repair and Replacement, aortic surgery, arrhythmia surgery, general thoracic surgery including robotic lobectomy, and a variety of vascular and endovascular procedures. Hospital is also looking to grow a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program (performed 22 last year). Applicants with significant TAVR experience would be a plus. Our practice includes a physician assistant. The ideal candidate would practice cardiac and thoracic surgery with endovascular skills.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Florida Medical License
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery

Medical Center is a 321 bed hospital in downtown Kissimmee that is rapidly expanding. The Cardiac Institute is contained within a distinct tower and has 102 private beds including a 20-bed CVICU. There are 2 dedicated cardiac operating rooms with one hybrid room. Osceola Regional has the only cardiac surgery program in Osceola County, one of the fastest growing counties in Florida. The hospital has an active affiliation with University of Central Florida and started Internal Medicine and OB-GYN residencies last July with Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Neurology and Psychiatry residencies to begin soon.

The cardiac program has been recognized as an STS 3-Star program for CABG for most of its history and consistently produces excellent patient outcomes.
