Primary Care Opportunities (3) in Tampa/Orlando, FL!!
Client has a special project to hire 3 physicians who would be willing to move
between offices while they transition their EMR system to Allscripts. They have 22
clinics that are affected. These new physicians would be at one clinic for 2-4
weeks to allow the regular PCP to get up to speed learning the new system, then
move to the next clinic switchover. The regular physician will still be at the
clinic during this time, so they wouldn’t be alone. They’d see about 6-8
routine adult/mostly geriatric patients per day (not complicated/complex
appts).
The catch is that the first 8 months or so will be in Tampa Bay area clinics,
and the last clinics are in Orlando. If they live in Tampa, we’ll provide hotel
and mileage or rental car when they are in Orlando – or the other way around.
But they need to live in one or the other – They aren’t paying travel expenses
for the entire term of the contract like a locum.
These are full-time permanent positions with the standard 2-year
physician contract. Clients contracts auto-renew.
Monday through Friday 8-5 with no call. Pay and benefits same as usual
Benefits include 4 wks PTO, 5 CME days and $2000, 8 paid holidays, paid
malpractice ins, medical/dental/vision plans, 401k, life and disability ins,
relocation assistance and more.
Our new providers have 3 weeks of orientation and training including EMR before
they start seeing patients.
These physicians will be dedicated to this project for 15 months, and after
could continue to float or move into a permanent location if one is available
and mutual interest. Project begins Jan 9, so they have to start on or before
Oct 30 this year for training and become familiar with client model. If start
before Oct 30, they can train and float until the project begins in January.
Must be BCIM or BCFP with active FL license or at minimum already applied.
