Share call 1:4 with 3 other independent surgeons in the community.
Work in a congenial atmosphere in new buildings with fully-implemented Electronic Medical Record(EMR), as of 2006. Hospital, recently named 1 of the nation's 100 most improved community hospitals. The three satellite offices are staffed by primary care only, and refer to the main office for further testing or to see a specialist. Each opportunity initially offers a guaranteed salary with vacation and full benefits. Additionally, the comp package includes 1 week CME plus $2125 for expenses and all relocation costs, with few exceptions. All full-time physicians are eligible for partnership the first January after one full year, with no initial buy-in.
The population of the greater area is over 40,000. City is located just south of Buffalo and three hours from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Toronto. New York City is an easy 5 1/2 hour drive or a one hour flight from Buffalo. Several smaller universities are located here and the Holiday Valley Ski / Golf Resort is just a thirty minute drive. City is located 15 miles below the snow belt. We enjoy 4 beautiful seasons, surrounded by the foothills of the Enchanted Mountains.
This diverse community offers all of the cultural amenities associated with living in a college town - economic stability and an outstanding place to live and raise a family - the lowest crime rate in the state, affordable housing, and three very good school systems from which to choose plus an International Baccalaureate School. There is a great deal of year-round activity for young and old alike and the university and college offer exceptional culture and entertainment, as well as Division I Sports. There are several beautiful state parks and multiple outdoor recreation opportunities including cross-country and downhill skiing, hockey, hiking, fishing, biking, hunting, boating, and golf. The Finger Lakes begin just one hour to the east of city and the Chatauqua Instititue is an hour to the west. The largest park in NY State is located 30 minutes away, off of I86 - Allegany State Park, and great for hiking, cross country skiing, and camping.
