Hospital Profile
· Medical Center opened it's new 414,000-sq-ft, 183-bed critical care hospital situated on a new 45-acre campus.
· Medical Center has 24 critical care rooms and 168 acute care rooms. The second level of the new hospital is a procedural platform. Emergency vehicles arrive on this level, where there is an integrated 19-room ER, eight operating rooms and the radiology / imaging departments, with 13 special procedure rooms that flex for surgery or ER. Patient rooms are directly above the procedural platform. A 24-room ICU is located immediately above on the third floor. Nursing station units are located close to patient rooms providing effective, efficient patient care.
· Medical Center offers a wide array of services including critical care, cardiac rehab, critical care, cardiovascular, clinical research, dialysis, endovascular services, emergency services, gastroenterology, gerontology, neuro-orthopedic, blood bank, oncology, sports medicine, pediatrics, pharmacy, radiology rehabilitation services, respiratory therapy surgery and women’s health.
· The medical staff includes physicians in more than 35 medical specialties.
Hospitalist Program Profile
· The Hospitalist Team of six full and part-time Internal Medicine hospitalist physicians will provide on-site service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Day shifts are generally 7 am – 7 pm, night shifts from 7 pm-7 am. The schedule consists of four to seven days on and four to seven days off. Each full time hospitalist will work 192 hours of clinical/professional medical services per month, consisting of approximately 16 twelve-hour shifts.
· The Hospitalist Team will provide service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
· The Hospitalist Program is an integral component for the delivery of inpatient healthcare at the Hospital.
