Northern Wisconsin
It is a group of professional psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, substance abuse counselors and nurse practitioners who provide the most complete behavioral health evaluation and treatment services available. The services offered include: established behavioral health service, flexible hours, full-spectrum psychiatry.
Currently the group is seeking one full-time inpatient psychiatrist and two full-time outpatient psychiatrists. Child psychiatry is also available, with inpatient & outpatient cases, full or part-time also negotiable.
The inpatient psychiatry opportunity is 40 hours/week, with an average of seven cases per day. The average length of stay for the patients is 4 days. The top three cases seen and treated are depression, bipolar disorder, and addiction. The inpatient psychiatrist will report to his or her medical director.
The outpatient psychiatry opportunity is 36 hours per week, with off-time being on-call. The daily responsibilities include one hour initial visits with the patient with a 15-20 minute follow-up appointment. The emergency department sees some patients first, therefore the psychiatrist should be able to provide more support in multiple areas of need.
Compensation and benefits: offer forgivable loans for recruitment, competitive salary, and moving expenses are covered.
Located in the “Northwoods” of Wisconsin, the area is full of forests, rivers, and natural wonders. Great schools, beautiful neighborhoods and year-round recreational opportunites make Wisconsin a great place to live and work.
