Medical Center is a 351 bed med-surg facility located 25 miles from Chattanooga. We are actively seeking a general neurologist for a traditional inpatient/outpatient employed practice who is interested in managing a wide variety of acute neurological problems including stroke. We have recently added an AAA+ general neurologist who commenced practice last year and already has a 3 month wait for new patients! Hospital has a primary and secondary service area of 200K. We currently have one active staff neurologist and one consulting who sees office patients only. We would like to add one more by the end of the year to serve the needs of our growing patient population. We work closely with the Regional Stroke Center in Chattanooga, TN, in a joint venture to provide consultation services for stroke patients who present at the Hospital ED for treatment and also to streamline the process of transfers when appropriate.

The compensation package the Hospital provides employed physicians is extremely generous. In addition to the attractive/competitive salary, we would include full package of benefits, relocation allowance, commencement bonus, CME allowance and possibly med school loan repayment. Also, the cost of living in our area is very reasonable and there is NO STATE INCOME TAX.
