Occ Med Opportunity in Ohio - Great Compensation & loan repayment +!!
Looking for physician to take over busy and established hospital employed Occupational Medicine Clinic.
This position will be located in our brand new facility scheduled to open shortly. The facility will also include Urgent Care and Family Practice.
COMPENSATION:
Salary Range: Option #1: Base salary of $206,800 (for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience with a guaranteed salary for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target.
Option #2: Base salary of $268,300 (75%tile) guaranteed for one year and then switched to production contract.
Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days
CME/Books & Journals: 1 week and up to $5000 reimbursement
2 year contract also includes (renewal contracts will be wRVU production based):
Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $17,500 year before taxes. No matching.
Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $17,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $24,000 for over age 50. Medical Center matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.
Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company
Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregate. 10% of tail is covered for each year of service at Medical Center.
Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
Non-compete: 70 mile and 2 year liquidated damages/non-compete clause
Additional contracts / options:
Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
Community emergency response plan (CERP) - pay for call - explained by CFO
Sign on Bonus - $50,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2 years)

" 4 weeks vacation, 1 weeks CME

" Board Certified in Occupational Medicine with MRO certification
Practice Information:
" Would you prefer the candidate to have any special areas of interest? Would like someone who has worked in an Urgent Care setting since there are so many workers comp. patients, civil surgeon, DOT Registry to perform CDL physicals

" What equipment do you have in the office? Hearing booth, stent testing, spirometry

Duties
" Would see workers comp. follow up and initial patients referred by Urgent Care and ED.
" Pre-Employ, Bus Driver, DOT CDL physicals and RTW physicals
" Rescreens for plant return to work
" BWC work in off site locations
" Oversee NP and PA
