Outpatient Adult Psychiatry Opportunity - 30 minutes north of Suburban Indianapolis!!
Health System is recruiting a Psychiatrist to join its staff of four adult and child/adolescent psychiatrists. Health Services is a hospital-owned community mental health center. Established in 1971, the program offers a full continuum of mental health and substance abuse services to children, adolescents, adults and families. Physicians here enjoy a collegial atmosphere and psychiatric services operate froma medical model, while utilizing a team of therapists and support staff.
Professional Qualifications:
•BC/BE Psychiatrist
•Primarily outpatient, occasional inpatient call duties
•Team player, flexible, supportive of collgial environment
Types of Cases:
•Outpatient adult, partial hospitalization and a small amount of adolescent. The service includes a DBT program.
•Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
•Physicians see an average of 16 - 20 patients per day.
On Call:
•Each physician is on call one weeknight (Phone call only) and one weekend in five. Physicians also receive a $1,200 stipend for weekend coverage, which includes Inpatient rounding.
Payor Mix/Managed Care:
•Medicare 31%, Medicaid 7.7%, Commercial 49% and Other 12.3%
