Pediatric Hospitalist Options in Maryland!!

· Pediatric Hospitalist

· will work at newborn nursery and pediatric inpatient and ER consultation

· 12-14 12 hour shift or 6-7 24 hour shifts

· Level 1-2 nursery with no neonatologist backup.

· Required to attend C-section and high risk delivery and attend all pediatric and neonatal related codes throughout the hospital

· Newborns who need increased level of care are transferred to Children’s National Medical Center or University of Maryland Children Hospital.

· Procedures might be encountered UA, UV, Peripheral IV, Lumbar Puncture
