Psychiatric (Directorship) Opportunity in Culture Rich Ohio Gateway Town!!

Health System is seeking to fill a full time psychiatric position with a focus in outpatient care. The position would include the opportunity to become the Medical Director of an Intensive Outpatient Program. The physician would be joining a team of three (3) hospital employed psychiatrists.

Health System's administration and physicians work together on a daily to bases to insure continued improvement in patient care, physician relations, equipment innovation and implementation, and positive community involvement.

Recruitment Package Includes:
a) Aggressive base salary above national average
b) Signing bonus: 10-25% of the designated base salary, based on experience.
c) Relocation $15,000
d) Student loan repayment: depends on total loan payment owed
e) Annual CME allowance $5,000
f) Business expense account
g) Directorship position and contract stipend in addition to general position.

Opportunity core responsibilities:

1. Outpatient Clinic:

*Note: Clinical hours are negotiable to fit the schedule of the new physician. Current clinic hours are 8:00a-5:00p M-T and half days on Friday.

Monday-clinic hours

Tuesday-clinic hours

Wednesday-clinic hours

Thursday-part day clinic hours, also IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program)

Friday -morning clinic hours 8:00a-12:00p

2. Medical Director Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Hospital

Admit, discharge and manage the program

Patient require visits first day, last day and every 30 days. Screening evaluations for admit

3. Weekend Coverage:

Physician would cover 1-2 weekends monthly . (Negotiable)

Physician would have minimal responsibilities for inpatient coverage: i.e. vacation coverage, administrative duties

Health System has an excellent medical staff with wide variety of board certified specialists represented (200+ members including interventional cardiology, neurosurgery, pulmonary, adult and pediatric care, employed hospitalist and emergency medicine teams, surgical bariatric program, gastroenterology, and plastic/reconstructive surgery to name a few.

The health system is also comprised of a 200 bed not for profit community hospital, a 25 critical access hospital, a full service cancer program with 2 campuses, an 18 bed rehabilitation center, an extended care facility, 2 urgent care facilities, 108 physician practices and a retirement community.

City has recently been named by National Geographic Magazine as one of the top adventure communities in the nation (#1 in Ohio!). As the first settlement in the North West Territory (and Ohio!), city brings 4 seasons of festivals and activities to the general population. Nestled between the Ohio and Muskingum rivers, city is a recreational paradise offering golfing, water skiing, hiking/trail running, fishing, hunting, and boating for warm weather recreation. City is within driving distance of skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.
