Psychiatry Opportunities in Virginia!!
VA - Richmond. Leading hospital system is seeking to add two additional Psychiatrists to a well established, successful and growing hospital employed practice. There are currently 5 Psychiatrists and 2 Psychiatric NP’s in the group. These will be primarily an inpatient positions with the option to focus on either Consult Liaison or traditional inpatient psychiatry. There could also be small outpatient portion to the practice, but the strong majority of time will be on inpatient medicine. The incoming physician must be board certified in psychiatry (or board eligible if just recently trained). The hospital is offering a competitive salary, WRVU bonus and complete benefits package, including relocation assistance, malpractice insurance, health insurance, retirement options, PTO and much more. Richmond is a very historic city with a population of over 1.2 million, and is the state capitol of Virginia. VA - Hospital employed position in a new 12 bed Med-Psych unit. Client is located in southwest Virginia, very close to the Tri-Cities, TN metro. The community is a mix of agrarian and industrial (High Tech) commerce. This is a beautiful part of the state, located in the Appalachian mountain chain, and is an outdoorsman paradise, with abundant hiking, fishing and hunting. Enjoy all 4 seasons in a year round temperate climate. Hospital already has a well-established 20 bed Adult unit and a outpatient med management program. Call will be 1x3 or better. There will be mid-level support as well. Hospital is offering a very competitive compensation and complete benefits package.
