Pulmonologist needed in Blue Ridge mountains - 45 minutes from Asheville, NC!
Hospital is currently searching for a Pulmonologist to replace a relocating Pulmonologist. This employed Pulmonologist would join two other Pulmonology/Sleep Physicians at their practice. It is anticipated that this physician’s practice would be busy immediately and would average 6-8 patients per shift on average. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Pulmonary with Sleep highly preferred. It is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Summers and winters are typically mild due to the altitude and southern latitude. Tourism is a major industry in the county due to a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities including hiking, camping, mountain and road bicycling, horseback riding, waterskiing, boating, fishing, hunting. The University provides a wealth of cultural and educational opportunities. Asheville is only 45 minutes away by expressway/interstate and is one of the top cultural destinations of the southeast.
