Medical Center, is seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Internist to join our rapidly growing Hospitalist group. The Hospitalist program is an adult medical service program with excellent dedicated and committed staff, and is supported by the medical staff.
Hospitalist Opportunity
•Employee of Medical Center, 287 bed, not-for-profit hospital, in Northern New York.
•Salary of $215,000 for Board Eligible & in process for BC
•Salary of $235,000 upon Completion of Board Certification
•Signing bonus of $15,000
•Educational Loan Repayment $10,000 per year
•Relocation moving expenses up to $10,000 with receipts
•Very successful adult medical service Hospitalist program
•Recruiting for 2 Hosptialists; 2 teams of 4 physicians (need ASAP)
•7 days on 7 days off
•3 Physicians on day shift; 1 physician on night shift; shifts are rotated
•Medical staff of 180 physicians – subspecialty support
•Life Insurance Health insurance, individual or family, 80% paid by Medical Center; includes a prescription plan and three difference plans to choose from
•Dental insurance, individual or family, two plans to choose from
•Occurrence medical liability insurance; $1.3 million each/$3.9 million aggregate (Lowest geographical area of malpractice claims in New York State)
•401-k program participation after 90 days of employment
•401-k match by Medical Center after one year anniversary
•Pension plan contribution by Medical Center after one year anniversary-calendar year
•Tax-deferred annuity program
•Reimbursement of NYS license and DEA registration
• $3000 for hospital approved professional society dues and/or educational expenses
