100% Infectious Disease Opportunity - Southern Ohio - Great Pay/Loan Repayment up to $200,000!!
Position: Solo practice in multi-specialty clinic. Provide IP consults, referrals, and outpatient clinic.
Based on current practice:
Inpatient: Averages 4 new consults a day, 10-15 inpatients list (including new consults)
Sees 1-2 patients in the ICU (consult / follow up)
Outpatient: 4 - _ days in office (Tuesday-Friday afternoons)
Averages 12-15 patients per half day and 30 new patient month for Hepatitis C
Very few HIV, most seen at Community Health Clinic
Committees: Infectious Disease Committee
P&T - meets every other week
Antibiotic approval committee - antibiotic stewardship important
Call: Ever third weekend, telephone consult thru the week (rarely happens), Current physician has never
had to come in for consult on weekend or evening.
BENEFITS:
Employment Opportunity: Base salary starts at $200,000, additional compensation commensurate with experience.
Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days)
CME/Books & Journals: 5 days and up to $5,000.
3 year contract also includes:
Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $16,500 year before taxes. No matching.
Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $16,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $22,000 for over age 50. Medical Center matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay (max of $4,900 and $10,400 respectively)
Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company
Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregate
Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
Non-compete: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause
Available (if applicable):
Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
Signing Bonus: 15% of base pay forgiven over a 3 year period.
