Opportunity: Hospital employed opportunity with Heart & Vascular Group.
Cath Lab: 3 cath labs and 1 hybrid room - CV OR #3. Open Heart Surgery on site.
Current On-Call Schedule is 1:3 call shared equally

Mon Tuesday Wednesday Thursday through Sunday
Evening call starts at 5pm and goes until 8am then next day. 8am to 5pm whichever physician is assigned to the inpatients is on call.

The Cardiac Lab sees approx. 1300 patients per month.

* All technicians are registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
* Cardiac Exams, Inc. – Currently read EKG’s, Stress Tests, Holters, and Echos.
Consist of 7 Physicians (Family Practitioners and Internists) on our medical staff:
Echo Levels Needed:
1) 3 months cumulative duration of training - 75 exams performed 150 exams
interpreted
2) 6 months - 150 exams performed 300 exams interpreted
3) 12 months - 300 exams performed 750 exams interpreted
COMPENSATION:
Salary Range: Option #1: Base salary of $514,000 (for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience with a guaranteed salary for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target. (5% less for those not yet boarded, switched when become boarded)
Option #2: Base salary of $636,000 (75%tile) guaranteed for one year and then switched to production contract. (5% less for those not yet boarded, switched when become boarded)
Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days). Additional 5 days when producing 75%tile wRVUs
CME/Books & Journals: 5 days and up to $5000
Bonus Incentives: Excellent bonus incentives up to 30% of salary
2 year contract also includes:
Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $18,000 year before taxes. No matching.
Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $18,000 year before taxes under age 50 and $24,000 for over age 50. Medical Center matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.
Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company
Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregate
Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
Liquidated Damages: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
Signing Bonus: 15% of base salary up to max of $50,000
