Colorectal Surgery opportunity in Tucson, AZ!!!
Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a fellowship trained colorectal surgeon to join the staff of a large multi-speciatly group affiliated with the hospital. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years experience. However, new grads are welcome to apply. Current call coverage ratio is 5 to 6 days per month by all private practice physicians. Office space is readily available in close proximity to the hospital.
The facility provides anesthesia coverage for all elective and add-on-cases or emergent cases 24/7. 12 OR's with boom systems and approx 400 square feet each. The hospital recently broke ground on a $46 million dollar surgery expansion that will take them from 12 OR's to 16 and increase the square footage or each room to 550 sq. ft, The OR's are filmless (PACS) and are fully digital. All OR's are staffed with seasoned OR professionals. Current OR Scheduling with only one form needed to schedule patients.
Medical Center is a 300 bed facility in Tucson offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services including cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedics, minimally invasive surgery ( including 2 Davinci surgical robots) neurology, neurosurgery, GI, a free-standing Women's Center, Wound Care Center. MC is designated with Center of Excellence status for its Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, Total Knee and Total Hip Replacement, Spine Surgery, Bariatric Program and Breast Imaging Center.
