Emergency Medicine Physicians needed in Wisconsin - Mayo Clinic!!
Job Description:
The Emergency Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Wisconsin includes two ERs. Physicians will work at both sites, 12-hour shifts, with some double coverage at the Emergency & Urgent Care Center. Emergency Medicine residency-trained physicians or Primary Care physicians with significant ED experience are needed. ACLS, PALS & ATLS are required, as well as board eligibility/certification.
About 34,000 patients per year are seen in our state-of-the-art ED facilities in the city (Level III), with its fast-track services covered by associate providers. Chest Pain, Stroke & Trauma Teams are present, and the 24-hour Hospital Medicine Service handles adult patient admissions to our 250-bed hospital on the Campus.
The ED at our other Campus, which has about 9,000 annual visits, recently underwent major renovation and expansion as well as upgraded Radiology services.
