Health Center is seeking Board Eligible/Certified Family Practice Physicians to practice in one of the Health System's satellite clinics. None of these opportunities require OB. Due to a shortage of Primary Care coverage in our area, all opportunities would offer the ability to grow your practice very quickly.

Health Center is a 187-bed, not-for-profit, Joint Commission-accredited acute-care regional hospital located in East Central Illinois - 180 miles south of Chicago, 130 miles east of St. Louis and 50 miles south of Champaign-Urbana.

Recreational activities such as: golf, tennis, horse back riding, water skiing, sailing, camping, canoeing, hiking, fishing, and hunting are abundant in the area. Art, theater, athletic events, and historical sites are locally available as well.

The Health Center provides a full range of acute-care, general services and home health services to approximately 357,000 residents. The Health Center's active and consulting medical staff includes 145 providers representing 28 specialties. Some of the services provided by the Health Center include: Regional Cancer Center, Outpatient Surgery Center, Women & Children's Services, Level II Perinatal Unit, Adult Care Unit, Behavioral Health Services, Radiology and Imaging Services, Cardiovascular Services including Cardiac Rehabilitation and Cardiac Cathetherization Lab, and Gastroenterology and Special Procedures and Laboratory.

The Family Practice opportunities would be an employment arrangement with a base salary of $200,000 plus production incentives based on RVUs. It also includes a signing bonus of $20,000 and loan assistance of $50,000. As an employee of the health center your benefits would include: Paid malpractice, health, life, disability, vision and dental insurance; pension plan; vacation compensation totalling $20,000 paid annually; relocation assistance ($10,000); CME (up to $6000 allotment per year).
