FP/OB Opportunity in Western Iowa!!
Compensation will be a one year guarantee of $22,000/month or $264,000/year. After the first year, it will be $38/RVU, all production based
Benefits: None, all paid by the physician
Loan Repayment: Will consider, depending on the amount, repaid with years of service (over 4 year timespread)
Sign On Bonus: 15K, repaid with years of service (over 4 year timespread)
Moving Expenses: Up to 10K
CME: Built in the contract VAC: 6 weeks per year, unpaid
Summary of what the current two physicians would like from a new partner: Hard worker, well balanced between work and home, team player-somebody who you could rely on without worrying, someone who could do the entire full scope of family practice, from newborn through geriatrics, somebody who can work inpatient, clinic, nursing home, optional ER. No J1's or H1B candidates.
Clinic office hours are M-F 8:30-5:00, no evenings or weekends.
Call coverage would be 1:4. Average number of calls during the day 5-10 Average number of calls in evening/night 5 (most if not all can be handled without coming in to the hospital)
Clinic location is directly across the road from the hospital. Clinic is 4800 square feet with an additional 4800 square feet on the other side. 10 Exam Rooms, 12 Office staff, only big overhead is lab, radiology is done at the hospital, collection rate is quite good, more self pay the past year, minor procedures done at the clinic would be vasectomy's, mole removals. One physician currently does C-sections. At the hospital, there at 3 CRNA's under contract for anesthesia.
