The General Surgeon we are searching for desires inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and has the skills necessary to necessary to grow a practice. A General Surgeon practicing here can expect to be busy in a very short period of time. We expect that within 12 months of employment, generated work RVUs will be at 7,012 or higher. This position supports one hospital and two office locations.
The General Surgery offices are conveniently located in a medical office building attached to the Hospital.
A second office is located at the Medical Center, an ambulatory care center.
The Surgery Department at the Hospital includes three main surgical suites and two minor suites. Approximately 4500 surgical cases and 2600 endoscopies are performed annually. Hospital is a 94-bed modern community hospital that also features an 8 bed ICU, a 42 bed Med/Surg Unit and a Level Three Emergency Department that treats over 32,000 patients per year.
