The Heart Institute at the Medical Center offers inpatient and outpatient services dedicated to the detection and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, which includes but not limited to, cardiac caths, pacemakers, EKG testing, holter monitoring, interventional cardiac procedures, such as coronary stents and angioplasty. Institute also provides a wide variety of emergency cardiac services. Inpatient cardiac procedures are performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, while outpatient cardiac services are provided in the Cardiology department at the Medical Center.
