Interventional Cardiologist Wanted in Beautiful Great Lakes Region of NW PA
Medical Center seeks a BE/BC interventional cardiologist to join a hospital based cardiology practice, to meet the growing patient demand. Medical Center implemented an elective interventional cardiology program (PCI) last year in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins AtlanticC-Port clinical trial. The first year of this program saw 300 diagnostic catheterizationsbetween 2 physicians. Medical CenterÕs cardiology department averages 12-13,000 EKGS per year, 2,000 nuclear studies and 2,700 2D echocardiograms. We will be opening our second cardiac catheterization laboratory in the fall of 2011.
Ideal candidate will be joining two other physicians and have a call schedule of 1:3. This is a hospital employed position. Candidate should be well trained and ready to apply for or already possess their Pennsylvania state medical license. Clean background and excellent communication skills required.
