Interventional Cardiology Opportunity (Partnership) near Dayton & Columbus, Ohio!!
Joining an established group of 3 Cardiologists - 1 Cardiologist is phasing out to retirement and there is a huge need.
Competitive starting Base salary (Year 1 and Year 2) of $350K + bonuses/incentives

On Call Schedule at Hospital
" 2 physicians on call rotation for our practice. Schedule can be decided between the two physicians and new physician. This would include our practice patients needing care after hours. Our answering service would forward messages to the on call provider for our group. Rarely would the physician be called into the hospital in the middle of the night for this.
" Our local hospital shares an ER on call rotation schedule and a Heart Center Reading day schedule between the local cardiology groups. The frequency of this depends on the # of physicians in the group. It is scheduled for 6 months at a time. We have 1 reading day each week (either a Tuesday or Wednesday). There are a few weeks that we have 2 reading days (both Tuesday and Wednesday). Our group is responsible to read all the heart center testing (EKGs, stress tests, echos, holters, etc…) The group gets to bill for the professional portion of the tests read. When on "ER On Call" is when the physician is more likely to get called in during the night for acute cases.
Cath Labs at local hospital
" How many cath labs are there? 4
" How does the scheduling rotation work? 1st come 1st serve. Never been an issue scheduling cases.
" How many are used for Interventions? All 4

o 4 ACLS certified RNs
o 1 CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
o 1 Medical Sonographer- certifications: RDCS, RDMS, RVT
o 5 administrative staff (reception and billing)
o 1 Office Manager
o 1 full time IT
o All of our staff are BLS certified

o We are completely EMR and have been since 2004.
