Neuroscience Institute -Hospital/School of Medicine

The Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology/University School of Medicine is seeking a neurologist with subspecialty interest in epilepsy. This excellent opportunity would include Directorship of the Epilepsy Program, expansion of the existing Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, development of an epilepsy surgery program in collaboration with a new epilepsy neurosurgeon, and expansion of an epilepsy outpatient clinic practice. The candidate would work with 3 existing epilepsy and neurophysiology trained faculty members.

The successful candidate will be a part of a team of excellent neurologists and neurosurgeons that comprise the Neuroscience Institute. The Institute is a collaboration of the School of Medicine at the University and a large and successful multi-hospital system. This physician group includes neurology physicians with subspecialties in vascular neurology, interventional neurology, neurological intensive care, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuro-endocrinology, general neurology, and memory disorders. The group also includes neurosurgeons with various subspecialties including functional and epilepsy neurosurgery. The Institute has an active basic science research program with active funding that is an option for collaboration. Academic rank at the School of Medicine commensurate with academic achievements and involvement in student and resident education is part of the commitment of those involved in the Institute.
