New: Geriatrics Opportunity in Metro Philadelphia, PA!!
It is Large Senior Service center. 300 Skilled Nursing Beds, a Subacute/transitional unit, Personal Care, Facility Hospice, they also just bought a home care agency. They are expanding into Geriatric Care Management Svcs too. There is a Geriatrician with 2 full time NP's working for him as well as some other physicians in other specialities
Geriatrician to work fulltime in skilled care facility. The candidate will work along with the medical director who works as a full time geriatrician at the facility. Responsibilities will include following nursing home residents for acute and routine medical care, working with NPÕs and following residents in personal care and sub acute transitional care. Home Care and Hospice visits as needed.
May have a collaborative role in the development of home and community based services, and participate in their clinical applications (medical day program, dialysis services, house calls program, satellite offices, etc.) Obtain staff privileges at local hospital.
On-Call shared with the medical director. Hours are generally 9-5 M-F with after hours call rotation with Medical Director
