New: Outpatient Family Medicine Opportunity in Eastern Kentucky!
The position would be for an (employed) family medicine physician working in our hospital based Rural
health Clinic (RHC). We are in the process of ramping up our Hospitalist
program so there should be no in pt. call responsibilities or ER call
duties. We are looking for a physician who communicates well, likes
patients, and enjoys working; so a productivity incentive (encounter based)
would be part of the agreement as we enter year two and three of our
contract.
It is a vibrant rural community located in the gentle rolling
hills 1.5 hours East of Lexington, KY. Morehead State University has a
branch campus located in town along with a number of smaller manufacturing
businesses and larger governmental entities. It is a very friendly, and warm community.
Cave Run Lake is located 15 minutes from the
hospital which is terrific for boating, swimming, and other
activities. There are a number of parks and golf courses in the area, and
downhill skiing is only 3 hours away. For more cerebral relaxation, the main
campus of Morehead State University is 25 minutes from the hospital.
