This is a For profit, 33 bed acute care hospital, with 5 rural health clinics
J1 and H1 Accepted
This will be children's and women's health
Clinic hours are Mon- Fri 8:30 to 5 pm plus rounding at hospital earlier
Call is for your own patients in house, by phone
Hospital ER rotation is about 1 day per month - the ER has 2 docs and only sees about 400 patients per month, plus midlevel covers the ER at all times.
The clinic you would work in has in Internist who has been here for 16 years and and ARNP who is here for 5 years. Clinic established for 20 years now.
Base is about $168K plus incentives on rounding etc. Last doc made over $200K this past year.
Client provides disability, health, life, vacation time, etc
plus use of a condo nearby in French Quarter that is available for weekend trips
4 hour car ride from New Orleans
and only 60 miles from a major metropolitan area, Monroe, Louisiana. Jackson, Mississippi is located 90 miles away. By Automobile you are only four and one half hours from New Orleans, Memphis, Tennessee, or Dallas
