Nurse Practioner Needed northeast of Denver!!
Need a Nurse Practioner with Behavioral Health background for Full Time Perm position.
Hospital employed position to work in our 14 bed inpatient geriatrics unit (ages 55+) and our Outpatient Clinic seeing patients of all ages. Inpatient unit averages daily census of 12. Clinic appointments vary.
Would work under the direction of our Psychiatrist who is employed by the hospital
Call will be covering 50% call to share with the Psychiatrist (could be every other day, week, or so – to be determined by NP and doc) Do not have to be 20 minutes from the hospital but must be available by phone
In the morning the candidate is in the unit and in the afternoon candidate would be in the outpatient clinic
The provider is required to perform psych physicals and histories and we have Internal Med coverage for medical H&P’s. Medical clearance is completed per ED physicians for those admits entering through the ED. The average length of stay for inpatients is 18 days, dependent upon age.
Need an experience NP (must have their DEA, etc.)
Negotiable Salary + full benefits package + relocation
