Older Adult Behavioral Health Inpatient Opportunity - Eastern PA!!
Physician Group seeking a board certified or board eligible Adult Psychiatrist to lead an interdisciplinary team for our Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Experience with geriatrics a plus. This 15-bed single occupancy unit has an average daily census of 12 and is supported by geriatricians and onsite hospitalists. If interested, you can participate in our outpatient practice. Opportunities also exist to round in long term care facilities.
Our Behavioral Health services include 2 other Adult inpatient units, outpatient services, partial and EAP. Weekend call is one in six and requires onsite rounding which is shared with another psychiatrist. Weeknight call is one day per week and is telephonic – crisis workers along with the Emergency physicians provide the initial assessment.
