Outpatient Family Medicine Opportunity in Western Mass (Berkshires)!!
Full-time primary care position (preferred) but
considering part-time, also. We are an independent, physician-owned,
multi-specialty practice. Looking for a physician who appreciates the
benefits of that independence. Having some entrepreneurial spirit helps.
Employment status initially, on a partnership track. Partnership usually
offered 18-24 mos. after hire.
$175,000 starting salary with productivity incentive that is 90% of what
partners earn for the same productivity. (Not offering signing bonus at
this time.)
Usual benefits included (health ins., dental, disability, etc).
4 weeks vacation, plus 2 weeks CME time off.
Up to $10,000 relocation allowance.
Potential for NHSC loan repayment program. Our North office is a
designated NHSC shortage site. Physicians apply independently once they
are at that site.
This is an outpatient practice with some limited nursing home work.
Hospital has full-time hospitalist service coverage for medical
inpatients.
Not equipped for H1b visa or J1 status
Will consider IM or FP, but FP will see only adult med., no Peds. or OB.
Call will be approx 1:6 (approx. because we have two part-time docs who
do pro rata share of call).
We have office hours 8:30 to 5:30 daily, with flexible morning Saturday
office hours for the on-call doctor for roughly a half-day.
Full time docs schedule patients 4 full days per week (32 hours) and use
the fifth, unscheduled, day for administrative duties, nursing home
care, catch-up time, extra patient office hours, etc., as they see fit
and usually make
it a short day. We use e-Clinical Works as our fully integrated practice
management system and electronic medical record.
The practice is busy and primary care is hard work but the lifestyle
here is good. We offer a competitive salary and a good place to live and
