Outstanding Opportunity in Southwest OH for Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist - University!!
Health system in Southwest Ohio is a 4 hospital system providing the major teaching platforms for the University School of Medicine undergraduates, and residents and fellows. It is part of a teaching consortium that includes the VA, AFB and Children’s Medical Center. Over the past year we have used data and consulting teams to develop a state of the art model for Psychiatric Service delivery based on national trends and proactive Consultation-Liaison work first pioneered at Yale. We are consolidating our inpatient units, expanding our Consultation-Liaison services and ED coverage. We have committed 24/7 resident support from University Dept Psychiatry Residency for inpatient, C and L and ED. Two of the hospitals serve as major teaching hospitals with resident and medical student education. In this transition we lost two of our employed psychiatrists. Employment is through the physician corporation. The salaries and benefits are generous
Positions include a University academic appointment in the Dept of Psychiatry. Call is forecast to be 1 in 8-9 nights
