Hospice/Palliative Care Opportunity

Hospital, licensed for 700 beds, is in need of a Hospice and Palliative Care physician to join two other board certified physicians due to its growth in services. Hospital's Hospice and Palliative Care program has been in existence for over 20 years. The program includes home hospice, home palliative care, and inpatient palliative care consult services.

Our palliative care service is growing rapidly due to the unique support of the Hospital Medicare Advantage plan and another local financial support. We have a close working relationship with the system’s cardiologists and oncologists.

In October of 2011, Hospital unveiled a brand new compassionate care center. The 23,000-square-foot facility features a 12-bed inpatient hospice to provide end-of-life care in a comfortable, peaceful environment.

In addition to inpatient hospice care, expanded Hospital Grief Services include a resource library, individual counseling rooms, support group meeting rooms and children’s programming with an outdoor activity area.
