Primary Care Opportunity in Northern New Jersey - Next to NYC!!

Seeking a Full time Internist or Family Practice - prefer already NJ licensed.

To join a traditional IM practice. Patients need to be seen in office, Hospital and nursing homes. This is a one physician practice owned by a physician who is Hem/Onc, with a separate office. Start date next 2 to 3 months.

Work load is follows:

1. We see average about 125 patients in the office per week. The hospital census is about 10. The hospital census normally goes up when we take ER calls. Then it falls down to average of about 10. We have patients in the sub acute and Long term in nursing homes. The long term patients need to be seen once a month. The subacute have to be seen 3 times a week. Typical Sub Acute census is about 10 patients. We have about 20 long term patients which need to be seen once a month in nursing homes.

2. The physician will be on call every other week end. The week end call works like this: Office half day from 8 to 12 in the morning and then hospital patients of Saturday. On Sunday, only hospital patients.

3. Salary will depend on the physician as to how much work load he/she can handle from above. We have a nurse practitioner to share part of the load.
