Psychiatry - Forming a group of 3 Inpatient based / hospitalist psychiatrists at Medical Center. One opportunity for Medical Directorship. The Med. Director will have clinical authority, but must function primarily as a collaborator and team member with administration and clinicians. The MD/DO will delegate responsibility of the other psychiatrists. Develop policies regarding medical and psych evaluations. Establish coverage for ER call. Physicians will be involved in treatment planning, psychotherapy, and act as liaisons with community physicians, hospital staff and other professional agencies.
