Seeking Neurologist for Exceptional Memory Center Opportunity in NC - Northwest of Charlotte!
The Neurology and Memory Center, a division of the Hospital, has been providing care for patients with memory disorders including Alzheimer's disease since 2007. While Alzheimer's disease is normally associated with aging, up to 10 percent of people with this disease develop symptoms in their 30's, 40's and 50's. Our Center has addressed genetic predisposition as well as interventions with diet, exercise and medication to help delay the development of symptoms. Patients have sought care in our Center from within our primary service area as well as from across the country and even across oceans.
Our neurologist is making a move to be closer to family members in another state. His departure creates an opportunity unlike any other--to succeed an internationally recognized authority in memory disorders and to serve a patient population accustomed to personal, attentive care. We are seeking a neurologist with interest in memory disorders at any age, and especially with an interest in early-stage diagnosis and intervention.
