Private group of 13 providers (5 FP, 1 IM, 1 OBG, 6 mid-level providers) seeking to expand into satellite clinic
Group is a non-for-profit organization and is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Care Center (FQHC) and Illinois Rural Health Loan Program of $25,000 / year one and year two with a $20,000 / year for subsequent year to follow. The area is underserved and is able to sponsor J1 visas and is a scholarship (forgiveness) site for the NHSC.
It is a growing community without healthcare services. The clinic is currently under construction and will be finished within months. The clinic will be staffed with a mid-level provider and staff for both mid-level and incoming Family Medicine physician.
Setting would be outpatient with a very light (telephone) call volume. Hospitalist program in place for inpatient care.
Office duties: 9am to 5pm four days per week with one evening clinic. (1 day off per week). No Saturday/Sunday hours.
Compensation: Very competitive including: salary, incentive production bonus, fringe package, potential for signing/commencement bonus, health/dental/disabilty insurance, malpractice insurance, paid vacation and CME time, CME funds, payment of license fees, and cell phone reimbursement.
