2 Psychiatrists Needed - Suburban Baltimore/DC!!
Hospital Center is seeking BC/BE Psychiatrists for full and part-time opportunities. Duties include: admitting, clinically manage, adult, adolescent and geriatric patients in both an in- and out-patient setting. Call is 1:4 by phone only. The candidate(s) will be expected to perform admission assessments including physical examination along with psychiatric consultation to general hospital patients. Duties also include management of discharged patients, when appropriate, on an outpatient basis.
Candidate(s) must be comfortable treating patients with co-occurring disorders, conducting consults on patients admitted to other units of the hospital, assessing patients in the Emergency Department and potentially nursing home and also have ECT certification.
Hospital's behavioral health services consist of well-established, well-respected programs with consistently very high volumes, both in its 20-bed inpatient unit as well as its wide range of outpatient and support services. Competitive compensation will be offered and will depend on experience.
