It is accredited by The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and boasts an 89% healing rate along with a customer satisfaction rate of 93%. The comprehensive wound center uses advanced modalities following evidence based clinical practice guidelines in the treatment of chronic wounds.
The center features 2 Sechrist Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers
This is a 100% wound care practice
The center operates as an outpatient service for the hospital seeing patients M-F 8-3:30
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Responsible for implementation, ongoing management and strategic growth of the program
Oversee day to day program operations with responsibilities in budgeting, revenue and cost management, reimbursement, quality management, performance improvement, marketing and community education
Responsible for providing Quality Patient Care
Actively chair and conduct the Center's monthly performance improvement meeting
Review monthly the process of care on patients for each major wound type with the Medical Director
Serve as liaison with affiliated medical institutions for services such as hospitalization and emergency medical services
Facilitate attending physicians and nursing personnel to adhere to Clinical Practice Guidelines and the Hospital/Medical staff patient care policies
