Medical Center seeks a BC EM physician to meet fast-growing ED volume in this beautiful East Texas community:
Medical Center is a 131 bed, full-service community provider that recently broke ground on a major expansion to 230 beds that will also double the number of ORs.
The modern, 24-room ED has seen significant growth over the past two years (up 12% this year and up another 10% YTD, which may put it over 30,000 for the year).
Currently 4 full-time ED docs on staff; current schedule is 1 week on then one week off; another week on followed by 2 weeks off. Shifts are 12-hours and rotate weekly between day/night. Mid-level coverage currently 18 hours a day.
Compensation is based on a RVU productivity model. Additional income possible through night coverage for Hospitalists. Malpractice and employee benefits included.
With a city population of almost 80,000 and a service area of more than 200,000, it is ideally located in beautiful East Texas on I-20, just two hours from Dallas and less than an hour from fine dining and entertainment in Shreveport, LA.
