General “Bread and Butter” Surgeon is needed due to growth of community. This is a fabulous opportunity for the surgeon who would like the opportunity to stay busy and keep their skills sharp while enjoying the wonderful location and all of the outdoor recreation it has to offer. Ideal candidate would be one who is experienced and self directed with a wide range of procedures that he can offer. Candidate can also do some trauma, vascular, thoracic, colo-rectal, plastics, etc if wanted. Scopes while welcome is not required. Call is 1:3, there are 3 other surgeons in town. Contract calls for around $352K a year income guarantee as well as overhead expense allowance. Sign-on, relocation, student loan (if appropriate), marketing, practice management (depending on contract type) are all offered on a case-by-case basis. Residents and Fellows, Visas with strong communication skills are acceptable candidates. GMENAC NET NEED = 1.8. CSA- Patients are currently being seen from communities as far as 2.5 hours away.
