Community, Facility and Organization
Hospital has established a reputation for high-quality and compassionate care over the past 56 years. It is one of Georgia's finest hospitals and the region's premier provider of cardiac care. As a private, not-for-profit community hospital, it is owned by the citizens of the area that it serves. It is a 292-bed facility that provides a wide array of services that meet the health care needs of West Georgia and the surrounding area, including emergency services, rehabilitation, home medical equipment, women's services, an outpatient center, and a cancer resource center.

Come for a rewarding career with a nationally recognized health care system. Stay for the quality of life you’re looking for in a community.

It is an authentic rivertown with Southern charm and personality. It’s also a busy industrial center that speaks the new language of a multicultural society and global economy.

There’s always something happening here. It’s a mecca for history buffs, campers, hunters and cyclists, where endless historic and recreational attractions may be explored and enjoyed.

The gently rolling waters of the Chattahoochee offer a beautiful backdrop to a 12-mile linear park called the Chattahoochee Riverwalk. The Riverwalk provides an excellent place to bike, in-line skate, job or just take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the scenery.
Travel along the Riverwalk past the Coca-Cola Space Science Center to the South Commons Complex, the finest collection of sports facilities you will find at one location. The centerpiece is the Civic Center, a 10,000-seat venue that is home to headline concerts as well as our hockey team, and the arena football team. Next door, Historic Golden Park boasts our minor league baseball team. The stadium was the Olympic venue for the Women’s Fastpitch Softball competition in 1996.

City also offers a variety of fine attractions such as the historic Springer Opera House which service as the State Theatre of Georgia, the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, the National Civil War Naval Museum, the National Infantry Museum at Fort Benning, the Museum and a beautiful Historic District circa 1850-1870.

Southern Hospitality is alive and well here. It’s a community that takes pride in preserving the past while maintaining a vision for the future.
