New: Pulm/CC Opportunity (Partnership Track) in Eastern Northern Carolina - Great location!!

Group is in the process of recruiting an additional associate. We wish to further complement our diverse cross section of physicians by adding an individual trained in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine to our Division. The work is with an adult population.

Our private practice is multi-specialty with 10 offices located in and around the area. In addition to Pulmonary CC we offer rheumatology, emergency medicine, dermatology, oncology, family medicine, endocrinology, internal medicine, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology and surgery. Our 88 providers and 600 employees provide services for thousands of patients in a 29 county region. Our doctors are on staff at the 900 + bed level one trauma center and the primary teaching hospital for the University School of Medicine.

This new physician will join three physicians and one nurse practitioner at our office in town. This position is open to new and experienced physicians who are board certified or board eligible. This partnership tract opportunity offers an attractive salary along with a full complement of benefits that includes malpractice insurance, major medical, LTD and profit sharing/401K.

Our Pulmonary CC physicians support the Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship and Internal Medicine training programs with protected ICU and in-patient pulmonary consult attending time. Our busy office practice offers state of the art technology with in-house radiology, CT, MRI, US, nuclear, ECHO, laboratory, endoscopy, thoracic oncology board lung cancer screening program and a six-bed sleep lab.

Competence in ICU care and procedures, bronchoscopy, ultrasound required. Sleep involvement available. On- site training in EBUS and Navigational bronchoscopy is available.

It is a pleasant community located in eastern North Carolina. We are only one hour away from the Atlantic Ocean. Our community has a population of approximately 90,000; however the city is the economic, retail and medical “hub” for 29 counties in the east. It offers a very high quality of life, normally reserved for smaller cities, yet has all the cultural qualities associated with a larger urban area. University and the School of Medicine, located in town, is the third largest university in the state with 27,000 students and provide a wealth of cultural, theatrical, and artistic programs. In addition, University competes in the Division One level of intercollegiate athletics in the newly formed American Athletic Conference (AAC) formerly known as the Big East.
