Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available for Doctors who consider it once a month or so

For any physicians or NP/PAs that may be interested in volunteering ocassionally or once in a while taking patients pro-bono in Southeast Florida, a local non-profit clinic in Jupiter, FL has several needs and asked us to help out…
Please see below and feel free to forward along.

There are two ways physicians can volunteer:
1) give time on Saturdays to see patients at the clinic

2) take a patient pro-bono at their own clinic.
“Yes, we need specialists to recieve patients pro-bono and primary care physicians/PA’s/ARNP’s to also volunteer on Saturdays at the clinic.”
“Opportunity to Give Back
The Jupiter Volunteer Clinic first opened on Jan. 21, 2012.  We have since served over 500 patients in the north county area who do not have health insurance, or are under-insured. Our patients range from young adults who have recently entered the work force, single parents, unemployed and seniors in the gap. Our goal is to treat their illnesses, provide the patients with continued medical care, prevent further deterioration of their health and seek alternative health care options. We would not be able to provide this service without the dedication of our volunteer physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and volunteers.  Our team of providers, work together, to find the right solution for the lifestyle and financial needs of our patients. We continue to register new volunteers every week and you may serve in many different ways. ”    Currently open on Saturday mornings from 9:00am – 1:00pm ”    Flexible dates and times according to your schedule ”    Sovereign Immunity offered by State of Florida ”    Convenient location in Jupiter at the DOH Center on Central Street and Indiantown Road ”    Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Registered Nurses needed ”    Pre-established calendar posted to select volunteer dates All our volunteers are registered and screened through the Palm Beach County Health Department in order to maintain the highest professional level and a secure facility.
